Would like to keep in touch with some folks out there who own 164's. We are a small group and would like to keep up with how others are doing with their cars.

I have a 73 Gold model.

I have a fully original 74 164E When I was younger I was given by my boss a 164E GT. No one seems to know anything about the GT model. It had the rallye dash and aluminum wheels. Couldn't afford the parts when I was 25.
My current 164E belonged to a 90 year old man who died in a house fire. It is mint 79000 miles

Hi Dave

Would be great to see a picture! I have a 73 and have some work before fully restored. As you know...parts are hard to come by.

Very nice pics!

Is this a manual or automatic?

I've owned a '72 164 for a year and a half. It has run just fine, with some intermittent down time for a repair or two. Pretty much in it for the long haul with this one. I realize that this is probably the coolest car I've ever seen (at least in the sub $100K range) and have the long term dream of making all nice and shiny again one day. Need to get out of graduate school and work like an adult to do that. Anyway, I love my 164, and am happy to see others out there waving the flag!
