Final destination (via 8 covered bridges) will be Lititz, PA, voted “America’s coolest small US town in 2013” with mid afternoon lunch at the BULLS HEAD PUBLIC HOUSE in the General Sutter Inn, an authentic English Pub, named: “Best beer bar in PA, 2016 and 2017”

Not a rallye, but a written instruction guided 40 mile drive in rural Lancaster County through historic Covered Bridges built in the 1800s.

Directions to the starting point from:

Points West:  PA turnpike exit  # 247 (Harrisburg East)

        Head east on Rt. 283 toward Lancaster, go 2.7 miles

        Exit at North Union Street;  Turn right at ramp stop toward Middletown

        Follow all signs for Rt 441 South, continue south 18 miles to starting point

Points South and SW:  Interstate 83North

         Exit in York at # 21A - Arsenal Rd. East onto Rt. 30E toward Lancaster

         Continue 19 miles to Columbia, PA.

        Just after river bridge, Exit onto Rt. 441 North, 3 miles to Starting Point

Points North and East:  PA turnpike to Exit 276 (Denver – Reading)

         Follow Rt. 222 South toward Lancaster for 17 miles

         Exit Rt. 30 Westbound toward York

         Continue on Rt 30W for 13 miles to Columbia, PA

         Exit onto Rt. 441 North, 3 miles to Starting Point

New Route, Bridges never included in prior tours, Celebrate 25 years of this tour with friends from the local MG club with a smattering of Jags and Healys. Mid afternoon lunch in Lititz's famous English Pub. Private room, order off menu, pay as you leave.
