Interested in getting an 1800es from my birth year ('72), never been in one before and I don't know of anyone local that may have one in Atlanta, GA. I'm 6'3" and (unfortunately) have put on a few pounds so now run 240. I realize that's probably bigger than the target audience when this car was made. Will I fit comfortably?

In other words, any 1800 owners out there if you can chime in and let me know if you're roughly my size (or bigger) and how well/poorly you fit, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, did these cars come with A/C (standard or optional?).

While I can't speak to the fitment issue as I don't own one myself, I can tell you that AC was optional in the 1972 1800 E and ES.

I'm 6'1" and 275 with a size 13 EEE shoe. I don't own one but I have driven a few. I fit just fine. Having said that, it takes some getting used to. Remember those cars weren't designed with the same comfort features of today. Best thing to do is find someone willing to let you mess with the seats and such.

You will fit just fine. I'm 6'4"", 275 lbs, with a shoe sizeof 15, and I sit very comfortably in my '65 1800S.
