Hi - New member here, happy to join the Club.

I'm picking up a new XC70 today, my third edition of this car, as I love the style, size, and features of the wagon.

My question is how do other members feel about the end of this model? I, for one, am sorry to see it go, as the style of the newer wagon/SUVs does little for me and I think the loss of storage space is a shame (those of us who put dog or bird cages in the back will know what I mean). Others may feel that it's good riddance to an outdated style.

Any comments about the end of the true Volvo wagon?

My very words back in the summer of '69 when Volvo announced no more 122 wagons for the USA.

The new 2012 XC70 that my Houston buddy OSDd from Sweden was a sweet ride (in the second seat) and he now owns my last Volvo ('68 122 wagon) so that family is all set with room for the kids, dogs and quetzals.

Congrats on the new XC70 and we need to see some pics to confirm that it is not a Toyota.
