Hello.

I was sold this radiator.

Part No.8602065

But I am not sure it is original
I am not sure it is brand new.

Can you tell me how to tell if the radiator I was sold is original and brand new?

Picture 1). Is it normal, on an original brand new radiator, that the frame has knocks and look damaged?

Picture 2). Is it normal, on an original brand new radiator, that the core is spoilt?

Picture 3). Should the brand new radiator, come packaged in a plain generic box? Or should it come inside a box, and wrapped inside a box, with a bag with bubbles and foam?

Is it normal that blue spot on original, brand new radiator?

What is that blue spot?

Picture 4). Does this box looks brand new, as it should be on a brand new part?

I called to Volvo UK, apparently, Volvo doesn’t manufacture this radiator there anymore? So this sticker could be fake, since I was told they ordered to Volvo Factory, in 17 days ago.

Picture 5). Is this defective Weld ok on original, brand new radiator?

Could somebody please, upload pictures of:

How a brand new Volvo radiator should look?

How a brand new Volvo radiator should be packaged?

Thank you very much.

Thank you.
So it might be generic.
And not brand new, the one I was sold.

Do you have any idea about the blue spot?

Is Skandix the manufacturer for Volvo parts, and also sell parts as Skandix?
Or is it independent?

Thanks again.
