Well, you've probably noticed by now that things look a little different around here. You are a keen observer!

The whole site is new and that includes all of the software that drives this forum. With probably over 10,000 settings and hundreds of back-end programs trying to talk to one another, there are bound to be a few glitches that we haven't discovered yet. So, if you happen to stumble upon anything that just doesn't seem right, give us a shout and we'll try to sort it out.

Thanks for using the VCOA Forum and enjoy the new look!

Yeah, it's hard to understand the corporate decision making process sometimes. But, hang on to it. It may turn out to be collectable.

I want to die like my Grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

The decision to discontinue the C30 means that Volvo no longer makes a car that interests me. It is unfortunate, though I understand that Volvo has embraced a different philosophy in terms of model cycles since the days of the 240, etc.

It is a credit to the C30 that it sold despite a complete lack of advertising support.

I think the C30 will continue to be sold in Europe. It never caught on here. Americans are into image, and folk here didn't see it as an image car...............We all know it is a lot of smiles/mile.

As far as its collectability goes, I would say drive it........Most of my chapter members are looking for $2000 collectables...
