Well, you've probably noticed by now that things look a little different around here. You are a keen observer!

The whole site is new and that includes all of the software that drives this forum. With probably over 10,000 settings and hundreds of back-end programs trying to talk to one another, there are bound to be a few glitches that we haven't discovered yet. So, if you happen to stumble upon anything that just doesn't seem right, give us a shout and we'll try to sort it out.

Thanks for using the VCOA Forum and enjoy the new look!

Hello Mike. Welcome to the VCOA family!

Nice vehicle! I had a '67 122S and absolutely loved it! Wish I still had it.

Not sure how to post photos on this BB.

It's real easy to add images to the forum posts; when you have the post editor open, just click the Add File button, which will open a browser so you can locate the images. Click on the image you want and then click the Open button. This will add the image to the Attachments listed at the bottom of the post. Repeat for more than one image. When you have identified all of the images you want, then up in the Message text box, click your cursor where you want to place the image and then click the Insert button beside the image you want.

That's it. When done, click Submit and the post is live.

BTW: the VCOA web site also has a gallery for members to post images of their Volvos. Find it under the Community/Gallery button and be sure to read the tutorial before posting images there. I have created a gallery for your use. We'd love to see your "New" 1969 122S!

Enjoy!

Ed

I want to die like my Grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.

Perfect, Mike!

The 122 is in nice shape too!

Now let's see what you can do in the Galleries.
The length of the tutorial may make it seem complicated, but it is actually very easy as well.

Ed,

I will get to the tutorial shortly. I don't have much in the way of pictures of the top side (some of the under side) as of yet.

Something for the numbers people:

Product Plate ID #: 133441
Chassis #: 0336952
Engine #: B20 4968 10 2628 (difficult to read off the left side of the engine block)
