Fri - Aug 08--Sun - Aug 10 Great Lakes Chapter "Volvos at The Gilmore II" Hickory Corners, Michigan (near Kalamazoo) 6:00 PM Friday to 3:00 PM Sun A repeat of last year's fantastic event, we are proud to bring the Volvos back to the Gilmore Car Museum (www.gilmorecarmuseum.org). The event will start with a dealer reception on Friday, a full car show, car games, catered lunch and awards, various dinner venues to choose from, and a drive to the famous Bell's Microbrewery in Kalamazoo, Michigan (Home of the Checker Cab). We are in the initial planning stage at this point having just selected the date (after checking to make sure it was clear on VCOA Nat'l and local Club's calendars). So we may add the Tech Session and Cruise/Drive, time permitting. This event has grown to be one of the West Coasts largest Volvo Car Shows. In the past shows Carlsen has hosted the 600hp. XC90 “Raging Moose” the S60R World-Challenge Race Car the C30 Sema cars from IPD and Evolve and “The 2 Million Mile Man Irv Gordon”.
