The Official Irv-O-Meter

Well, he did it!   On September 18, 2013 Irv broke the 3 million mile barrier he set for himself and in the process set yet another Guinness World Record that in all likelihood will never be broken.

Congratulations Irv!

So what happens now?   The Irv-O-Meter has hit the top end of its range. Do we retire it or is Irv going to keep racking up the miles and we need to recalibrate the dial?

Your guess is as good as ours, so we'll let Irv celebrate here for a while until we have a better idea of what will happen.   Stay tuned!

I can't believe it again. I was the last one to put in a comment and no answer. Irv are you going to be in Tulsa this year? Once again we have people from Arizona and California who are driving to the Meet. We'd really love to see you and your 1800.

:-) I can't believe there have been no comments since 2015-08-26. Is Irv going to be at Elkhart Lake for the National Meet Sept 15-18? Would sure be great to see you and your 1800 there Irv. We have several members from both Arizona and SoCal coming, a total of 4 1800s, one 122 wagon, a 144 and a V50.

Been watching your progress for over 20 years. We'd like to see you out here somewhere in the West again. If you can make it to AZ that would be fine, but I'd also suggest the Davis Car Show put on by the Sacramento & the Golden Gate Chapters in early April. Even some of us from Arizona attend. Hope to also see you there.

Congratulations , Irv! I have 573,341 miles on my 1986 Volvo 740 GLE as of February 22, 2014, so I have a few miles to go before I can catch up with you (as if that were possible!).

Vigorous kudos; well done.

Congratulations Irv, my P1800 has at least 131 000 miles, there are only 5 figures on the speed.
Keep us informed about your performances and your travel to Europe. See you soon.
